Training overview:
The cornerstone of Gurleen’s interactive training is storytelling, as she includes the many stories she has collected from research participants, family, friends, and her own accounts.
This training will include:
Bio:
Gurleen is a clinical counsellor based out of British Columbia. She specializes in a wide range of diversity challenges and also has specific training and experience in the issues that women face when they have been victims of violence. Born and raised in Kelowna, she moved to the Lower Mainland for her Bachelor to Arts Degree in Criminology before completing her Master of Education in Counselling.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 100 participants.

Reading: Participants are invited to read "White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack" prior the session.
