Digital Preservation and Access with AtoM and Archivematica

Sarah Romkey, Systems Archivist for Artefactual Systems, will present on first steps for institutions to take when wanting to provide online access to their collections using AtoM, or preserving digital content using Archivematica. 

Her presentation will address:

• New features in the latest release versions of AtoM and Archivematica

• How do AtoM and Archivematica work together

• How to prepare for digital preservation activities with Archivematica

When: Friday 11 September 2015 from 2 - 4:30pm

Schedule:

The first hour (2-3 pm) will be a talk, then discussion/Q & A about AtoM (Archeion Coordinator, Amanda Hill, will also be present) and the second hour (3-4pm)  will be a talk, then discussion/Q & A about Archivematica, leaving time (4-4:30pm) for more in-depth queries. 

Everyone is welcome whether they are currently a user of AtoM or Archivematica or not!

Users of either AtoM or Archivematica are welcome to share stories or experiences with colleagues.

If you have specific or general questions you are looking to have answered, you can send them in advance to Sarah or taag by Friday 4 September 2015 and we'll compile them for Sarah!
